I arrived at Peavine
School in the fall of 1968. Mulberry School consolidated with Peavine
that year, and I became a Panther. It was my first ride on a school bus,
the first of many to come. I came in the third grade. After my years at
Peavine, I attended Stilwell High School and then I attended College at
Northeastern State University, Tulsa Community College, Oklahoma State
University, and The University of Arkansas.
My wife Elaine and I have three
children and six grandchildren. I am a proud grandpa. We
live in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. I am always glad to come to Peavine each
day.
My philosophy is always to do what is
best for the kids. Peavine is a special place to me, as it is with a lot
of people here in the community. I count myself blessed to be part
of this community. A lot of time has passed since that day in 1968, but
I have never lost my tie to Peavine. I am proud that I can say my
children and grandchildren have walked the same halls as I did, and can
call themselves Panthers as well. |
